Activities and societies: Presenter : 2018 WA: ERA Chevron Showcase As one of the outstanding projects, my graduate project, titled An investigation into the feasibility of applying a CRA internal coating to line pipe by thermal spray, was recommended by Curtin University to present in 2018 WA: ERA Chevron Technology Showcase event and the poster of the research achievement titled Feasibility of CRA thermal spray internal coating of flowlines attracted many industry experts attentions and received lots of positive feedback.

Area Director of C2

Area Director serve as the direct liaison between the District and the clubs. Area Directors conduct club visits twice a year within my respective areas to understand and support club needs. In turn, these visits help District leaders understand how to support and meet the needs of each club. It is important that Area Directors have the support they need to serve clubs. The success of the District depends on it. Area Directors have served as members of a District Council.

Past President

The President is the chief executive officer for the club. The role involves general supervision and operation of the club.

The President presides at Club meetings, and directs the club in meeting the members\’ needs for educational growth and leadership. In cooperation with the rest of the officers, the President establishes long-term and short-term goals for the club. The President serves as one of the Club’s representatives on Area and District Councils.

Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for Club records and correspondence. The role involves all administrative details between the club and Toastmasters, and keeping the club\’s documents available and up-to-date.

Assistant Metallurgical Engineer

· Ensured on-site safety by conducting process supervision and equipment maintenance;
· Assisted the quantity surveyor in construction design;
· Monitored on-site work flow, reported and handled emergencies;
· Acquired skills and hands-on experience of the project construction and performed other supportive tasks as assigned.

Assistant Metallurgical Engineer

· Monitored the automatic copper refining system daily, performed timely handling if any unfavorable conditions identified, successfully ensured the safe and smooth running of the system;
· Streamlined standard operating procedures according to ISO/QS Guidelines and developed extensive knowledge of specifications and standards.
