Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying
- Diploma in Building Surveying
Remuneration
Subject to experience, efficacy, client base & knowledge.
Role Description
We are seeking;
- Building Consultant or a Registered Building Surveyor
- 2-3 years checking experience is a MUST
- Exceptional literacy is essential
- High degree of verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independent and make decisions
- Leadership qualities
- comprehensive understanding of, and the abiliy to apply Building Legislation (Building Act 1993, Building Regulations 2018, NCC BCA 2022, Australian Standards any other literature)
- carry our site visits
- Attend mandatory inspections with RBS or inspector.
- sending emails.
- drafting reports, Letters, Permits
- using statutory software & general computer literacy
- Lodging S80’s, S73’s, S30’s
- collating permit documentation & amendments
- data entry / file establishment
- assessing applications, prepring issuance of RFI
- liaising with Councils, clients and other consultants
- provide technical advise as required, and seek guidane from senior staff as necessary
- remain polite and courteous
- You will be responsible to the company Director on a daily basis.
