About the role

Survey Dynamics is seeking qualified, highly-skilled Engineering Surveyors with civil and earthworks experience to join our team. Positions are available on various projects throughout regional Western Australia commencing in July/August on 2:1 FIFO rosters.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

  • Survey set-out and data processing for large scale construction projects
  • Providing support to the construction team
  • Performing conformance surveys
  • Calculating volumes for payment and planning purposes
  • Management of machine control
  • Quantities

Successful applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Suitably qualified with either a Bachelor Degree or TAFE Diploma qualification in Surveying
  • CASA Remote Pilot Licence/UAV experience not essential but highly regarded
  • Have exceptional communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of people within the workforce and be able to work in a team environment
  • Have a current Australian Manual Drivers Licence
  • Have unlimited rights to work in Australia

Desirable applicants will have experience in the following:

  • 12D and/or Terramodel
  • Leica, Topcon and Trimble surveying equipment
  • Earthworks experience
  • Machine Guidance
  • Concrete and Structures (desirable)
  • DJI Multi rotor drones (desirable)
  • Pix4D/Virtual Surveyor (desirable)
