Your Role and Impact:
- Design, develop, and maintain GIS databases, applications, and spatial data workflows.
- Integrate GIS solutions with business processes to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct spatial analysis and data modelling to derive insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement GIS solutions that meet client requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and support to stakeholders on GIS tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in GIS technology.
- Foster and develop relationships with internal technical specialists and skills groups.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities for spatial tasks using FME, Python or JavaScript.
- Manage the quality of deliverables and troubleshoot issues.
What You Bring:
- Proficiency in industry-standard geospatial software (e.g. ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, QGIS, FME).
- Experienced in semi-automatic and automatic manipulation of geospatial datasets including but not limited to satellite imagery, LiDAR data and vector datasets.
- Proven ability to be self-sufficient, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Have excellent written as well as verbal communication skills and build strong relationships with peers and customers.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based GIS solutions and experience in developing GIS applications or workflows using programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred.
