Our federal government department is seeking Geospatial Developer to join their team in Canberra.
Security Clearance
Minimum Of Baseline Security Clearance is required for this role.
A strong candidate will have:
- Deploying solutions into the GIS environment, including deployments of ArcGIS server, Portal for ArcGIS, and Geospatial Server.
- Managing Spatial Database Environments – on premise and cloud (SQL Server, PostGresGIS).
- Orchestrate Data ETL Workflows (FME, Python);
- Adapting Spatial Viewer Technology (ArcGIS Enterprise);
- Maintaining and designing systems and applications.
- Developing appropriate solutions and related technical specification documentation.
- Providing status updates to Delivery management.
- Liaising with architects, developers, service and data modelers, business analysts, and testers to efficiently deliver high quality work.
- Managing and analysing incidents/problems.
- Working within large or small multi-disciplinary teams.
- Supporting cross function IT projects that rely heavily on GIS technology of data.
