With a strong and every growing pipeline of work, we are seeking keen an additional Licensed Surveyor to join our Victorian team. Reporting to the Survey Manager, the Licensed Surveyor will work across a vast array of sectors, providing professional surveying services to the housing, construction and land development industries. Working with recognised industry leaders as some of our key clients, this breadth of work will provide you an opportunity to grow and develop your career.
As a Licensed Surveyor, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Undertake, manage and lead survey projects inclusive of completion of tasks, signing of plans and other surveying documents.
- Manage submissions of survey documentation to relevant authorities
- Monitoring WIP against project budgets
- Complete projects within scope to companies required process and safety requirements.
- Perform cadastral surveying
- Mentoring, and coach a team of talented surveyors
This position shall primarily be office (hybrid) based; however, field work will be required. Our dedicated business services and operations team shall support with fee proposals, scheduling, invoicing, spear submissions, authority enquiries and client updates. We believe our business model strengthens our service to allow our surveyors to do what they do best and not be tied to day-to-day administrative tasks.
You will have:
- Degree in Surveying Registered as a ‘Licensed’ Surveyor by the Surveyors Registration Board of Victoria
- Ability to act as supervising surveyor for PTA candidates (highly desirable)
- The ability to work seamlessly with many Developers, Builders, Project Managers and Consultants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Extensive understanding of cadastral legislation and the subdivision process
- Strong problem solving and consulting skills
- A strong team player with a desire to share knowledge and assist in developing of the next generation of surveyors
- Experience with Leica is desirable
