ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Based out of our client’s Sydney office as a Geophysicist, you will play a crucial role in wide range of projects. This full-time position requires travel to project sites. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting and managing Geophysical surveys, such as Seismic Refraction, MASW, Electrical Resistivity, Magnetics, Ground Penetrating Radar, Electromagnetics, and Gravity
  • Performing downhole geophysical logging surveys
  • Processing, interpreting, and reporting on site data
  • Creating 2D and 3D models using Geotechnical and Geophysical data
  • Providing technical support and advice to clients, both internally and externally
  • Responding to and preparing expressions of interest, proposals, and bids

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this Geophysicist role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, majoring in Geophysics or Geology
  • A minimum of 3 years of field experience
  • Proficiency in technical report writing
  • Proficiency in geophysical acquisition and analytical software
  • An interest in developing both technical and project management skills
  • A current driver’s license and valid working rights in Australia
