ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Based out of our client’s Sydney office as a Geophysicist, you will play a crucial role in wide range of projects. This full-time position requires travel to project sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting and managing Geophysical surveys, such as Seismic Refraction, MASW, Electrical Resistivity, Magnetics, Ground Penetrating Radar, Electromagnetics, and Gravity
- Performing downhole geophysical logging surveys
- Processing, interpreting, and reporting on site data
- Creating 2D and 3D models using Geotechnical and Geophysical data
- Providing technical support and advice to clients, both internally and externally
- Responding to and preparing expressions of interest, proposals, and bids
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this Geophysicist role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, majoring in Geophysics or Geology
- A minimum of 3 years of field experience
- Proficiency in technical report writing
- Proficiency in geophysical acquisition and analytical software
- An interest in developing both technical and project management skills
- A current driver’s license and valid working rights in Australia
