FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When you find a job you are interested in, simply click on that job title to view a longer description and application instructions.
When you apply for a job, the International Skills team will review your application and connect you directly with the hiring manager of the position you are applying for.
You can click on the "Forgot Password?" link inside of the login form to access the reset password form. You can easily reset your password with either the username or email you have registered with.
Currently, applicants need to have an account on International Skills.
International Skills uses AI and employment data to connect our members with over 1,000 Australian hiring managers and recruiters. Who you know is often as important as what you know when looking for a job, so sign up today and let us help you take your career to the next level!
Only one account is allowed per person on the International Skills platform.
On average, you will hear back from the hiring manager/recruiter from a job you are a good match for within 5-7 working days.

For Candidates

There is no way to hide your profile from a particular person or employer, however, you can choose the level of information you would like to share by selecting the settings that best meet your needs. Please note that this setting will apply to all potential employers. We recommend approaching your International Skills profile like an online profile that showcases your skills and qualifications even when you're not actively looking for a new role.
Organic listings are ranked solely by relevance or date, according to International Skills's proprietary algorithm. These are the latest jobs related to your search query and will naturally fall back in search results over time as new roles are added.
Some job postings on International Skills allow you to withdraw your application by clicking the withdraw link in an email sent to you by the employer. It is not currently possible to edit your application or reapply to a job on International Skills.
International Skills does not allow users to withdraw or alter applications that have already been submitted. Because of this, it's important to review your application and fix any errors before submitting it to the employer.

For Employers

Your ads will be live for between 15 to 60 days depending on what kind of account you have. However, you can remove your ad before then by clicking the “Remove Job” button on the job details page.
You can close your account by logging in, going to the settings page and clicking the “Close My Account” link. You will see a confirmation window. If you are certain that you would like to proceed, click OK. Please note that this is an irreversible action and cannot be undone. Instead of closing your account, you have the option to pause your account. You can also set your profile to private so that your profile and/or jobs are not searchable on the platform. If you wish to use International Skills again after closing your account, you can create a new account using the same or any other email address, however, you will not have access to any of your original information. If you do not see the option to close your account, submit a request to our support team for further assistance.
Log in to your Employer account, go to your profile’s settings page, and click “Change Email”. After you've changed your email address, International Skills will send a confirmation email to the new address you entered. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the email in your inbox. Click the confirmation link within that email to finalize the change. International Skills will begin sending notifications to the new email address.
When you sign up on International Skills, we will send you a confirmation email to confirm your account. Check the inbox of the email address you used to register. The account confirmation email includes a Confirm Your Email Address link. Click this link to confirm your account. If you didn't receive a confirmation email, check your Bulk, Spam or Deleted Email folders to see if the email was directed there.
Email alerts are switched on by default when you upload a job to the International Skills platform; you will receive an email each time a candidate applies for one of your jobs.
The review process takes between 24-72 hours to complete, and our support team will contact you if there are any problems with your job post.
